West Cork Artist Aidan O’Regan has established a reputation as a colourist of immense ability. A love of nature and an ability to deconstruct his environs to its constituent colours, allows him to interpret the coast and hinterland of West Cork in a fashion so subtle that the viewer is immediately engaged.

Based at The Store Room gallery on Astna Street in Clonakilty Town, visitors are welcome to visit and browse through the amazing original artworks on offer. The experience of visiting Aidans gallery is fantastic and the array of pieces on display is beautiful. Aidan has a range of original artworks for sale as well as a collection of limited edition prints which are all framed up by the artist himself.

Aidans works are inspired by the compass of light that exists across the seasons of West Cork landscape. From the piercing blues of direct summer light and panoramic purples and pinks of a June evening, warm comfortable autumnal reds and oranges, long cold steel winter light, all of these producing the subtlest of nuances from Aidan’s palette.

"For my originals I mainly use Strand's Artist frames which really suit my artwork - they are also super easy to assemble which is great and I also use the canvas floater frames which are a great product "

"I also do a range of limted edition prints using 2020 Limed and a conservation textured white mount. For the prints I use Strand's textured fine art paper."
