We have a number of different glazing options including our 2mm Floatglass as well as some plastic glazing alternatives which are a fantastic solution for shipping larger framed pieces. They are lightweight and shatterproof.
Floatglass - 2mm Our 2mm floatglass is our standard glass option which is extra clear high quality glass which we cut to size
Polystyrene - 1mm/1.5mm/2mm Shatter resistant plastic sheets also protected on both sides with a peel-off polythene film. Polystyrene is sold under various other names including Perspex but its important to note the longevity outdoors before coloring becomes apparent on the sheet is 5 years. This is used for photo frames and other projects where longevity over 10 years + indoors is not required. Slightly more expensive then glass.
Acrylic - 2mm/3mm Shatter-resistant acrylic sheets, protected on both sides with a peel-off polythene film. Acrylic is also sold under various other names including Perspex. Our 2mm cast acrylic is manufactured from virgin materials and has high transparency and excellent scratch resistance. Longevity outdoors before colouring is 25 years. This is used extensively by gallery customers or in high end products. Significantly more expensive then glass.
Half Tempered Glass - 2mm Available in a select range of sizes. Our half tempered glass is ideal for shipping larger frames pieces. The tempering process stretnghtens the glass allowing the frames to be shipped once packaged carefully.

To make ordering as simple as possible we ask you for the image/picture size. Please use a measuring tape or ruler when measuring this as to be as precise as possible..
Using a measuring tape or ruler, find the height and width of the picture you would like to frame.
NO MOUNT PICTURE FRAMING If you would like to put the picture straight into a frame then the size of your image will be your exact frame size as frames are measured by the size of the piece of glass/back that goes into them.
WITH MOUNT PICTURE FRAMING Generally customers would order picture mounts with their frames which give their artwork a nice clean finish. Ordering picture mounts means your frame size will be larger then your image size so just ensure you order mounts to suit your image size as well as having the frame size the same as your frame.
