At Strand, our HD Fine art reproduction canvas prints on standard edge canvas are manufactured using a solid wood stretcher frame that is 18mm in height and 40mm in width. The high quality canvas print has fantastic scuff and abrasion resistance. We stretch your canvas to what is a known as a drum tight stretch. With razor-sharp details and the highest definition, our HD Canvas Prints are ideal for the high end art and photography markets.
Canvas prints on our deep edge 38mm stretchers is our premium canvas product. Each canvas print is laminated with a matte laminate. traffic areas like hotels or corporate areas. The canvas print is then wrapped and stretched on a high -quality custom cut stretcher frame which will be 38mm in depth giving your canvas a substantial and chunky feel. You have the option of your choice of image wraps including gallery wrap, mirror wrap, duplication wrap or white border wrap depending on your requirements.
Our standard edge canvas is stretched onto a solid wood frame with a depth of 1.8cm. Our deep edge canvas is stretched onto a solid wood frame with a depth of 3.8cm. For larger format canvas it is best to stick to a deep stretcher as it is more robust and solid as larger format pieces can put stress on the wood joints.

For best results, we recommend images at 150-300 DPI at the final print size. Canvas has a textured surface that's more forgiving than photo paper. As a guide: for a 60x40cm canvas, your image should ideally be at least 3500 x 2400 pixels. Our upload tool will indicate if your image resolution is too low.
