We are now stocking our 2040 deep box frame so orders will be dispatched in 1-2 working days. Our 2040 deep rib is manufactured from our 2040 wood profile and includes a 25mm wooden spacer. This creates a recess between the glass and the backing board of the frame and gives perspective to the piece. The frame size is 9 x 9 inches (229 x 229mm) and includes an acid white core mount.

Our 2040 is a new addition to the strand framing. This is an ikea alternative solid wood frame which is manufactured in Ireland. We have now put a large number of these frames into stock which means they will be dispatched within 1-2 working days from order.

• 2mm float glass - Now with polished edges. We stock polished edge glass at 229 x 229mm. Polished edge glass prevents minor injuries when assembling frames and the edges of polished glass are less prone to breakage. This means you receive a superior frame product.
• 2mm MDF back - TSCA Compliant backing (Toxic substance control act - some customers export to the United States and new laws are now being enforced for imported products. This is to stop some toxic chemical being used in the production of the MDF). Our MDF backing is now TSCA certified.
• White core mount (Acid Free) - Polar White - opening 120 x 120mm
  
• 1 Medium Integrated hanger. This allows the photo frame to be hung on the wall.
•  25mm solid wood spacer - creates recess/space for 3D objects to be inserted
• Boxed in 6's - this packaging can be reused to ship out to products to retail customers.

These frames are also known as Box Frames, Shadow Box Frames & Canvas Box Frames. They can be used to frame 3D objects such as ceramics, jewellery, and canvas up to a depth of 25mm.
